I have finally started the project to launch something into space! I have been doing research and found out that I need to get a ham radio license in order to use one of the radio trackers that will help us find the payload once it has crashed back to earth. My mom bought the book and we will take an online class in order to study for the test. The plan is to take the test in March and hope we pass!

We are hoping to send the balloon to space in May.  I still need to research what to do, but I have learned about helium and know that we need to rent a tank from Party City. I also need to decide how many cameras to use and what kind of sensors to use.
